The South Is Falling!!!!!!

The South Is Falling!!!!!

Of course with a title like that most people gonna ask where is this guy from?????
It honestly shouldnt matter where Im from because Hip Hop lives everywhere and Im not a statue so Im everywhere! But I will tell you so you never will have to ask and wonder. I AM FROM THE BRONX, NEW YORK CITY!!!!!!! Please never forget it, even though I will most likely mention it every now and then. Other than my city, I represent THERMAL SOUNDWAVES RADIO & VIDEO MUSIC BOX!! So I deal with music everywhere around there world as well as videos from around the world too. For the past couple of years the south has had more of the commercial spotlight than other regions within the U.S. A beautiful movement some people (myself also) would call it. Everywhere was just showing the south connecting rappers to collect way more money, sales, ads, status and so much more perks. It seemed as if a new artist coming out had to have a rapper from the south on his track or give a stamp of approval in order to get signed to a label or even put out music if you were already signed. There were alot of talented artist from the south just killing the scene with their great talents. There were also many artist from the south that were STRAIGHT TRASH yet still were able to do numbers and get perks all because they affiliated themselves with the others. Thats how powerfull the south movement was. If you would listen closely even some of the southern rappers would make mockery of up north rappers (specifically NY-NJ rappers). Some would say "we gotta bring the east coast back son" as if they were making fun of eastcoast artist. Some would just say fuck yall east coast New York niggas without even being witty about it. Whether some of the oldschool southern artist used to go through blackballing or just been treated as if they cant rap is understood as why they would feel that now. I take it as a sense of accomplishment from being held down for so long. I personal am not that old to see what some of those southern artist went through but I do understand. But someone gotta tell these not so old and younger southern artist to just stop acting like you had so bad nigga and just kick your fucking rap!
While a lot of east coast and west coast artist were falling apart do to hate and beefing, the south were capitalizing. From Lil Boosie, Lil Wayne (whatever he babbles about), UGK, David Banner, Lil Flip, TI, D4L, Trick Daddy, Outkast, Youngbloods, Lil Jon, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and many others. The wave was just crazy! Then dudes got a little to full of them selves and went against what got them to where they were at. I sat back and just watched because a wiseman and wisewoman told me to ( I still listen to the O.G.'s in this business) and I just saw sefl destruction of the south before many others did. Thus......"The South Is Falling"!!!

Now of course there are gonna be dudes from south saying the default phrase they say all the time because some of them really dont have an intellectual conversation. "Yall niggas need to stop hating on the south"!! Thats the phrase they always say especially to someone that doesnt live in the south. Okay..BUT........when a SOUTHERN ARTIST SAID THE SAME THING people made fun of him and made it seem as if hes too old to know any better or hes hating on the younger southern artist or (here it comes)...."hes a nigga right out of jail so his mind is all crazy cause the world past him by". When I used to see some of those comments I used to be like "thats very disrespectful to someone that stood for the south since as long as I was able to do the running man. Im serious about the running man too! The artist from the south Im talking about is the late great PIMP C of the great UGK! I know I might get some backlash from this which I am more than willing to welcome whether its email wise or you wanna "try' to see me. Please understand that Im from White Plains Rd. in the Bronx, NY and I was man before I got in this business so Im ready if it has to go down!

I remember Pimp C always saying we gotta keep this shit of ours tight because we are losing it like the other regions did. Other artist and people never took wisdom of what he was saying and what he saw in the future. He was even on a radio show in Atlanta and I felt as well as many others that he was being led into a interview trap. But Pimp C stood his ground and told it like how it should be told! So now hes a miserable old southern artist huh?? Instead of agreeing with him to give tuff love many people just thought he was a hater. Not at all! Look at all the beefs with TI vs Shawty Lo, Jeezy vs. Gucci Mane, Jeezy vs. DJ Drama (huh??), Boyz N Da Hood vs Jeezy, Trae vs Mike Jones, Rick Ross vs. Trick Daddy, Plies vs. Trick Daddy, TI vs Rick Ross, Lil Flip vs TI, Lil Flip vs Slim Thug.......... This list can go on and on. Sometimes it amazes me when I find out some of these other beefs. I be like, "is it the thing now with these southern rappers to be having commercial beefs now"?? The majority shit I hear about is with Atlanta artist. Wow! Big shout out to alot of artist from more of the southwest like Texas cause they still have a little more of a understanding in my belief.

If you think Im hating or lying, do your research and come back to me and prove it to me that there is not a somewhat self destruction going on. Just look closely before you call me hater. Then if you feel so still, you can tell me something different when you see me in the club by YOUR HOOD OR CITY!! Soon alot of supporters are gonna get tired of the senseless commercial beefs going on with some of these southern artist and there will be less sponsors, advertisers, clubs, events and other perks wanting to get involved with southern artist just like how many of them did with west coast and east coast artist that went through the same shit!
The southern takeover train is about to leave the station real soon so pack your bags and dont look to come back for the next couple of years in the future. Hip Hop Takeover type of business is a revolving door. The takeover business never stays in on area too long. After a while people just wanna hear different un-beef like music. Do your research!!
